Project AI2ImproveFLL is an international initiative that aims to support secondary school language teachers in the informed and effective use of artificial intelligence tools. Together with partners, we are developing a blended learning course that combines evidence-based teaching strategies with the possibilities offered by generative AI (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.). The project responds to real educational needs related to digital transformation and the implementation of AI in a way that is in line with EU, UNESCO and AI Act values.
Foundation activities:
- Design and implementation of a learning platform for a blended learning course.
- Creating learning materials using AI.
- Technological and methodological support for partners.
- Popularisation of results and good practices in Poland.
- Translation of materials into Polish and participation in course testing in schools.
Effects and results:
- A three-module blended learning course for language teachers.
- 'Teach the Trainer' module for teacher educators.
- A platform with a database of materials, reflections and good practices from implementations.
- AI experiments conducted by teachers in schools in 7 countries.
- Training and certification to confirm readiness to work with AI in language education.
Why is this important to us?

In the AI2ImproveFLL project, we help language teachers not only to understand the new tools, but above all to combine them with what really works in education - scientific evidence, empathy and student experience. Only then can language education be effective and equitable.
