EMWIT – Empowering M-Women in Tech and Industry Supporting women in their career development in technology and industry, and supporting companies in creating workplaces that promote equal opportunities
At EMWIT, we view professional development from two perspectives. On the one hand, we will support women in identifying their own competencies, developing their leadership skills and planning their careers. On the other hand, we will help those responsible for HR to create more transparent and fair policies on recruitment, promotion and staff development. We want the acquisition of skills to be accompanied by conditions that enable them to be put to use.
In the project, we have planned a six-month mentoring and coaching programme for 100 women, including 20 in Poland, as well as training and the exchange of experiences for 50 people working in HR. Our activities are aimed primarily at millennial women working in technology and industry, as well as those preparing to enter these sectors.
The Digital Creators Foundation is responsible for developing the educational platform LearnHub and an interactive self-assessment game to evaluate skills, linking this to mentoring and the exchange of experiences amongst participants. We will also be implementing a support programme for women in Poland and co-developing educational initiatives for HR staff. We are therefore building on the tools developed in the previous edition, adapting them to new needs and professional contexts.
We are carrying out this project in collaboration with organisations from France, Italy, North Macedonia and Spain. EMWIT will run from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2029. and is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.
