From 30 June to 1 July 2025, a kick-off meeting was held in Rome for the project "Grapes of Change: Tackling Violence in Wine Supply Chains", implemented within the framework of the CERV - DAPHNE programme. Digital Creators Foundation, as one of 14 partners from eight European Union countries, participated in the kickoff, which opened a three-year cooperation process to address gender-based violence in the European wine sector.
The project involves extensive education, research and systemic activities to improve women's safety and working conditions, as well as to strengthen the institutional response to violence and discrimination in wine supply chains.

Digital Creators Foundation is acting as a technology partner in the project. Our task is to design and implement the Observatory, an online platform that will be used to collect data, monitor the phenomena of violence and support organisations in developing policies to counter violence and inequality in the workplace.
Despite the holiday period, project work is gathering pace. To date, we have completed:
- development of the project's visual identity,
- creation of a website,
- the start of an advanced stage of research and design of the Observatory's functionality.
We are currently in the phase of analysing qualitative and quantitative data and testing the initial system architecture. The aim is to have a beta version of the Observatory available by the end of 2025.
In the following months, consultation activities with professional organisations and support groups are planned, as well as the development of educational tools and training using the 5D methodology and educational games to support responses to violence in the workplace.
The project will run until April 2028. Information on the next stages of implementation and results will be published in the News section.
