Part B. Background and experience

Fundacja Digital Creators (FDC) is a non-profit organisation specialising in the design, implementation and evaluation of educational, digital and capacity-building solutions, with a strong focus on practical usability, accessibility and long-term sustainability.

The organisation combines educational methodology, digital technologies and applied research to support educators, NGOs, cultural institutions and adult learners in adapting to digital transformation. FDC’s expertise covers in particular:
digital education standards and quality assurance, digital upskilling, AI-supported education, development of online diagnostic and support tools for NGOs, and technology-enhanced learning in socially sensitive contexts (e.g. gender equality, violence prevention, inclusion).

FDC has extensive experience in EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, CERV/DAPHNE, EEA Grants), acting as coordinator or key content and technology partner, and cooperating with an established network of associated experts from education, technology, social sciences and the cultural sector.

Part C. Key Staff

Piotr Maczuga

Founder, Project Lead, Educational Design & Digital Transformation Expert


Piotr Maczuga is the founder of Fundacja Digital Creators and an expert in education, digital learning and educational innovation, with over 15 years of professional experience at the intersection of pedagogy, technology and media. He designs and implements educational programmes, digital platforms and learning formats for adult education, higher education and the NGO sector.

He has been an EPALE Ambassador for many years, actively contributing to the dissemination of good practices in adult education at the European level. He is also a co-creator of the Educational Support Office (Biuro Wsparcia Kształcenia) at Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), supporting institutional development in teaching quality, digitalisation and innovation in higher education.

Piotr Maczuga lectures and develops academic courses at several universities, including the University of Warsaw (UW), SGGW, Merito University and other higher education institutions. His teaching focuses on multimedia content creation, digital education, educational technologies and the practical use of digital tools, including AI-supported learning.

He is an Expert and Education Trends Researcher at the Sectoral Council for Competences – Development Services operating under the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), where he contributes to analyses and recommendations related to skills development, adult learning and the future of education and training.

In addition to his project and academic work, Piotr Maczuga is the author of popular science and educational publications focusing on technology, artificial intelligence, digital culture and contemporary educational challenges. In EU-funded projects, he typically acts as a project lead or key partner, responsible for educational concept development, platform-based solutions, dissemination strategies and ensuring the practical usability and sustainability of project results.

Sławek Łais

Learning Design Lead, Gamification and Training Methodology Expert


Sławomir Łais is an experienced learning and development expert specialising in the design of effective training processes, gamified learning formats and digital learning tools. He has long-standing professional experience in adult education, organisational learning and competence development, combining methodological rigour with practical implementation.

He is the co-creator of Learning Battle Cards, an internationally applied gamified methodology supporting the design and facilitation of learning and development processes. His work focuses on translating learning objectives into engaging, outcome-oriented training formats that support real behavioural and organisational change.

Sławomir Łais is also a co-creator and programme board member of Fundacja Digital Creators, where he contributes strategic expertise in learning design, serious games and the integration of digital tools into educational and training processes.

In EU-funded projects, he plays a key role in the design of educational concepts, gamified solutions, facilitator-ready materials and structured learning pathways, particularly in projects addressing empowerment, inclusion and social change.

prof. Jacek Martusewicz (Culture / Heritage). Professor Jacek Martusewicz is a specialist in the conservation and restoration of stone and ceramics linked to architectural heritage, including historic ceramic wall coverings and ceramic architectural elements. He leads the Ceramics Conservation and Restoration Studio and contributes academic and practical expertise through research, publications and cooperation with heritage institutions.

Nina Gałuszka (Culture / Creative industries). Nina Gałuszka is an experienced cultural-sector and creative industries expert with a strong track record in developing and managing educational and social projects. She has long-term managerial experience across the NGO and business sectors, and has worked on grant and project concepts at large scale, supporting capacity building and development in the cultural field.

Marcin Majkowski (Technology / Immersive & prototyping). Marcin Majkowski specialises in immersive and additive technologies (3D printing, VR and AR) and has been working in these fields since 2014. His experience includes prototyping and implementing immersive solutions across multiple sectors, including applications in museums and heritage contexts.
